TruFinish Woodworx is a family-owned and operated business committed to treating you like family. That means we will make sure you are satisfied with your cabinets and treat your project as if we did it for our own home. TruFinish started by building high pressured laminate cabinets and oak furniture for our use around 2001. After that, we slowly started doing it for neighbors, school districts, commercial projects, and friends.
In late 2018, we saw significant demand for hardwood cabinets, and our existing shop was too small to do the varnishing and painting of the cabinets. We decided to turn a chicken barn into an area where we could stain, varnish, paint the cabinet parts and fabricate custom laminate countertops as well. It wasn’t long before we had to use another barn for storage. In a short amount of time, we outgrew the two barns we had dedicated to assembling and finishing the cabinets and countertops. So in the summer of 2021, we decided to build a new building and relocate TruFinish Woodworx to Hosmer, South Dakota to have all of the fabrication under one roof instead of 3. The new building is 280ft x 75ft with offices and a beautiful showroom attached for everyone to stop by and look at our quality cabinets and workmanship.
In January of 2022, TruFinish Woodworx has invested in an automated flat finishing line to give the customer the best high-quality finish, faster turnaround times, and most of all, the best quality finished cabinets that you will find on the market today.
TruFinish Woodworx has come a long way through word-of-mouth referrals and continues to build relationships with dealers, designers, contractors, and homeowners all around South Dakota and North Dakota.
